Moor Trio
Schots, Italiaans en Ierse muzikanten die elkaar ontmoet hebben op het Conservatorium van Amsterdam. Zij zijn allen actief in orkestjes en kamermuziek in Nederland, Iatlië, Frankrijk, Schotland, Ierland en Engeland. Zij zullen werken uitvoeren van Lewin, Andriessen en Shostakovich.

Fiona Robertson, viool:
Fiona is currently studying for her Masters degree in violin performance with Ilya Grubert and Maria Milstein, at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. She recently graduated with first-class honours from the Royal College of Music in London, where she studied with Jan Repko.
She has won several prizes including the Contemporary Music Competition at the Royal College of Music in 2015, the Ailie Cullen Memorial Prize, and the John Fyfe Trophy at the 2009 Glasgow Music Festival, and was a winner at the Chetham’s Concerto Competition in 2010. Recent solo performances include Berg's Violin Concerto with Chetham's Symphony Orchestra at the Bridgewater Hall, and Vaughan William's 'The Lark Ascending' with the Scottish Festival Orchestra, at Glasgow's City Halls. She has appeared several times as soloist with the Glasgow Chamber Orchestra, performing the Sibelius and Bruch violin concertos, and she is also a regular performer at the West Buckland Festival in Devon. Fiona is a former member of the London based Manon Quartet, which has received several prizes, including the first prize at CAVATINA Intercollegiate Chamber Music Competition. The quartet has performed in venues throughout the UK, including the Wigmore Hall and St. Martin in the Fields. Fiona has performed in masterclasses with Alina Ibragimova, Christoph Richter, Pavel Fischer, and members of the Chillingrian, Ysaÿe, and Smith quartets. She recently made a CD recording of solo violin pieces by Italian composer, Simone Fontanelli, which was released in December 2015. Fiona is kindly supported by the Sir James Caird Travelling Scholarships Trust and the Neil Vint Bursary.

Roberta Cristini, klarinet:
Roberta is geboren in Brescia (Italië), stuurdeerde aan Conservatorium di Musica "G.Verdi" Milano, Liceo Scientifico Iseo Sez. Ass. Antonietti, Conservatorio Luca Marenzio, Conservatorio di Milano "Giuseppe Verdi" en nu aan het Conservatorium van Amsterdam. Zij vormt met Eliška Horehled'ová (Flute) het Mokum duo.

Sean Morgan-Rooney, piano:
Sean Morgan-Rooney from Mayobridge was only 13 when he won the competition in 2007 and was continuing his schooling in sixth year at Abbey Christian Brothers in Newry. He studied music then under the director of the Royal Irish Academy of Music, internationally-renowned concert pianist John O’Conor and Dr Peter Tuite. Since winning the competition, Seán has continued to pursue a path in music performance. While at school, Seán studied at the Royal Irish Academy of Music under John O'Conor. He recently graduated with a First from the Royal Academy of Music in London, where he studied under Professor Christopher Elton. During his time there he was the winner of the Else Cross Prize for contemporary music and the Vivian Langrish award for obtaining the highest piano mark in his year. Following the 2007 competition, Seán was a piano finalist in the BBC Young of the Year Competition. He has concertized in various venues across the UK and abroad. He has appeared as concerto soloist with the Hibernia Orchestra in Dublin, the Torun Symphony Orchestra in Poland and the Hornton Chamber Orchestra in London. In 2015 he gave a recital at the World Piano Conference in Serbia. In the same year he was the winner of the Charles J. Brennan Prize at the Dublin International Piano Competition. As a result, he is engaged to perform with the RTE Concert Orchestra, to record his first CD under the RTE Lyric FM label and to give a solo recital at the National Concert Hall in Dublin. Most recently, Seán was made a permanent member of the Hard Rain Soloist Ensemble, a contemporary music ensemble based in Belfast. Seán is currently continuing his piano studies with David Kuijken at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam.
